Yard for all Seasons

Yard for all Seasons is an ongoing series of installations in my yard and other familiar places. Each piece is constructed using ordinary objects or materials collected nearby. The series is a reflection on everyday life and the domestic spaces we inhabit. The pieces mark perceptible and imperceptible shifts around us – trees we see out the window grow each day, garden beds are planted and replanted, shadows change month-by-month with the angle of the sun. Each installation is fleeting and imperfect – built in a rush and scattered just as quickly.
